Computer Engineering

"Technology has forever changed the world we live in."
Welcome to the department of Computer Engineering at ICOER. The UG course BE in computer engineering was started in the year 2006 with a modest intake of 60 students and enhanced with DSE intake of 60 students in 2011. The PG course ME in computer engineering was started in the year 2014 with an intake 24. The department has well qualified dynamic and technically experienced faculty members.
The department has a vibrant student body numbering around 300. To pursue the vision, the department is actively engaged in research activities in various areas. The department has a history of a strong academic growth.

Electronics and Communication Engineering

The Department strives to be in the fore front of providing quality education in contemporary and emerging areas. It is committed to encourage students/researchers to carry out innovative research to usher developments in the field of electronics and communication engineering, keeping excellence in focus and deliver quality services to match the needs of the technical education system, industry and society.
Electronics and Communication engineering is a dynamic and exciting area that provides excellent career opportunities in various sectors of the society. We are committed to give our students an environment where they develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills as they advance through the program. In addition to classroom teaching, the students are guided and motivated to practically implement the principles learnt in classrooms through experimentations in the laboratories which help students gain confidence and become skilled engineering professionals.
In addition to the U.G. Program in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering department also offer P.G. Program in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering with specialization as Signal Processing. The department has an intake of 120 for U.G and 24 for P.G. program with 28 well experienced, qualified faculty members and well qualified technical staff.
The department has state-of the-art laboratories in the areas of Communication, DSP, Analog Microprocessor & VLSI design etc. Department also has a Texas Innovation Centre established in association with Texas Instruments, USA. Department also has a long list of MoU’s with industries of national and international repute.
In a nutshell, the department is well nurture to cater the needs of the education for the career enhancement of students from both technical as well as social aspects. Furthermore, the core values of the department help the students to develop their overall personality and make them worthy technocrat to compete and work at global level. We will continue to pursue our vision in the days to come and in the process add value to our stakeholders.

Mechanical Engineering

The department of Mechanical engineering is one of the largest departments amongst engineering colleges at the SPPU. It started its undergraduate course in 2006-07 and postgraduate course in 2012-13. It enrolls more than 1000 undergraduate and 24 postgraduate students. There are 64 dedicated faculty members and is known for its sheer commitment for high academic standards. The department has over 20 laboratories equipped with some of the state-of-the-art instruments and systems.The department is proud to be collaborated with well-known industries in the domain.
The mechanical engineering department educates the engineers of tomorrow by integrating classroom theory and practical hands on project, by emphasizing the process of learning and critical thinking, by conducting original research, and by promoting professional relationships among the university, the business community, and engineering colleagues.

Civil Engineering

“Smart and Effective Infrastructure Development” a measure of global progress is a manifestation of core engineering discipline-Civil Engineering. To contribute in nation’s progress through infrastructure and development, Imperial College of Engineering established the Department of Civil Engineering to offer UG program in 2007-08 with 60 intake which was later enhanced to 120 in the year 2012-13 and 180 in 2014-15. Realizing the need of higher education we started post graduation program to enhance technical knowledge in terms of better infrastructure and human resources we started, Maters in Construction Management and in Structures with 24 intakes each.
The Department is very active academically well qualified, dynamic and professionally experienced 34 faculty members. The Department is glad to have faculties with unquestionable commitment and dedication to this Nobelprofession.
All the labs in the Department are well equipped, with testing and consultancy facility. The Department offers innovative experiment and software like Bentley with number of software.Many students have done social and government projects like DRDO and ISRO.
The Department organizes Conferences,Workshop, Short term training program, Expert lectures series,Industrial interaction, Parent teacher interaction and on Site training for student. Department has MOU’s with various industries. Also our Department has academic allience with ISRO-IIRS as “Out-reach Learning Program”.
Our students are encouraged to organized and participate in Technical events, Social events, Curriculum and Extra Curriculum Activities.
The Department is proud to have many alumni’s are working at prestigious position in industry and in entrepreneurship.

Engineering Science

Vivekananda believed education is the manifestation of perfection already in men.
First Year Engineering Department facilitates the basic education of fundamental subjects in Engineering. This department was established in the year 2006. It has ten laboratories, developed with these laboratories do meet the requirements of the syllabus (prescribed by Savitribai Phule Pune University).
Care is taken for the regular maintenance of each laboratory through a lab in-charge, assisted by a laboratory assistant. The faculty is well qualified and experienced. The total carpet area occupied by the department is according to the AICTE norms. The department has 28 faculty members including the Head of Department and four supporting staff. The department has 1 Professor, 02 Associate Professors & 25 Assistant Professors. All basic Engineering subjects are taught by efficient and qualified faculty members. The total intake of students in the First year Engineering is 600. First Year Engineering Department is backbone of Engineering. So, conceptual understandings of Basic Engineering subjects are necessary. Opportunity is given to the parents to have one to one interaction with the faculty members through GFM activity. As a first year student, we concentrate more on academics which may lead to good results and better placements. By providing a platform, these students are encouraged to participate in extracurricular activities like sports, technical events in/off campus etc.

The Imperial College of Engineering & Research (ICOER) MBA Program aims at creating not only excellent managers but also dynamic future leaders for the ever changing global business environment. We at ICOER are highly committed at maintaining quality and excellence in education through high quality teaching & management skill development programs. The institute provides an open & constructive atmosphere which encourages students, faculties as well as staff to create and sustain passion for excellence and ultimately achieve our goal of creating dynamic future leaders. The program has been started under Imperial College of Engineering & Research since August 2007 with a sanctioned intake of 60 students.
