Computer Engineering

About Department

The Computer Engg Dept. was started in 2007-08. The Dept. has completed its 11 glorious years of imparting quality education to students who aspire for better technical education and make a career in the field of computer engineering. The Dept. has an intake of 120 students and Postgraduate Course in M.E Computers of 24 students. The Dept. boasts of qualified and experienced faculty who are continuously striving for betterment of students. This is proven with a consistent and impressive success ratio of 87.09%. The Dept. has taken the initiative of identifying the current needs of I.T industry and accordingly framed and conducted an Open Elective for B.E students and value addition courses on Mobile Application Development. Keeping in mind the current trends in I.T industry and to provide a platform for entrepreneurship, the Dept. has started a Incubation/Self Learning Lab . The students have responded positively by participating and getting selected in the first year of Hackathon 2k17. Currently in 2017-18, two more groups are selected and participating in Hackathon 2k18. With the initiative of AICTE and Govt. of India, students are actively doing internship programs in various I.T sectors.

M2: To strengthen computer enabled technical skills and develop problem solving abilities in the students for emerging challenges in society.

Program Educational Objective (PEO)

PEO1: Graduate shall demonstrate competency in technical and professional skill, and pursue successful career in computer engineering.
PEO2: Graduate shall update and demonstrate problem solving skills in engineering profession to address issues in techno-social domain.
PEO3: Graduate shall adopt ethical processes and exhibit effective communication and teamwork skills.

Program Specific Outcome(PSO)

PSO1: The ability to understand the principals and development methodologies in computer engineering
PS02: The Ability to Apply Mathematical methodologies to solve computation task, model real world problem using appropriate data structures and suitable algorithms
PS03: The ability to use various programming languages and platform to address the society needs.
