Student's Association

Purpose:

1. Create, organize, promote and enrich the social, cultural, recreational, educational programs, services and environment for students of the College.
2. Develop a sense of community among students and other groups within the College.
3. Promote general welfare of students and the furtherance of post-secondary education consistent with the purpose of the College.
4. Promote and represent students' issues and interest in relation to the College.

Benefits:

1. The obvious benefit of joining a student society is the impact it will have on your social life. You will meet people who share an interest with you, and you will widen your social network beyond your course and the people you live with.
2. However, there are also real gains in terms of your employability - the skills, qualities and knowledge you offer to prospective employers, which suggest that you will successfully adapt to life as a graduate in the workplace.
3. There are three main categories of student society. Best known are the sports societies, which often involve inter-university competitions. Then there are subject-based societies, which enable you to extend your academic knowledge more informally, through guest speakers, field trips and extra-curricular projects.
4. Finally, there are the societies which don’t fit either category (like musical instruments), and might involve setting up a business or working in the local community.
5. While each offers its own benefits, all student societies give you a great chance to enhance your employability, and it’s never too late to join.The obvious benefit of joining a student society is the impact it will have on your social life. Computer Engineering

The purpose of the organization is to support the academic, professional, and social needs of the students in the College of Engineering. The organization will maintain communication between disciplines, student groups, and the engineering community to meet these needs.

Mechanical Engineering

Mechanical Engineering Student Association is a group, whose regular membership is comprised of students enrolled at mechanical department, as well as faculty, staff, or individuals from the community. However, only students can serve as officers or have a controlling interest in the Association. The purpose of the student association is to give an opportunity to develop leadership by organizing and carrying out extra curriculum activities. In addition, planning events that contribute to department spirit and community welfare the MESA is the voice of the student of department. It is important that they be given the opportunity to express their views on issues of concern to them in the department.

E&TC Engineering

ETSA To give a platform for the student members to exchange ideas byorganizing/participating technical programs and activities,Plan of curricular and extra-curricular to be conducted in each academic Year. To coordinate Technical and Non- Technical Activities organized in department. Motivate students to participate and develop extra skills rather than academics. To plan departmental budget of curricular and extra-curricular activities.

Civil Engineering

Civil Engineering Department has Student Association “Civil Engineering Student Association (CESA)”.The various activities organized are expert lectures, workshops, quiz, competitions, industrial visits, aptitude tests, guidance for exams like GATE, CAT, GMAT, CET, GRE, TOEFL and competitive exams.

Engineering Science

Engineering Science Department has Student Association “First Engineering Student Association (FESA)”. FESA provides platform to students for various academic and non-academic activities and provided a platform for their creativity in department.
