About Department

The MBA Department of ICOER was established in the year 2007 to cater to the management and entrepreneurial needs of the society, with a view to impart quality management education for the budding leaders of India.  The Department of MBA offers a Two Year full time MBA programme approved by AICTE and is affiliated to SPPU, Pune, Maharashtra.
The MBA programme is offered in the tradition of scholastic excellence for training for life. While establishing Dept the college envisioned the leader who could share the national responsibilities as well as global responsibilities. The necessary skills of a manager were at the core concepts of the department; the department had conceptualized the industrial leadership, entrepreneurial leadership and research leadership
The MBA Degree is offered as per SPPU curriculum along with other value added features like a Language Lab and Industry academic Interaction and in plant training Camps. The department is well equipped with ICT enabled classrooms, excellent infrastructure, Wi- Fi enabled campus, Hostel, Canteen, Medical Facilities, ATM Centers, Bank facility, Sports ground, Transportation, Placement Cell etc.
At present the department is offering 18 specializations for eg:- Human Resource, Marketing, Operations, IT and Finance etc. The Department is facilitated with highly qualified and highly experienced teaching faculties. The department has a well stacked Library comprising of Books, Magazines, Journals and e-journals, being a college with many industrialists & entrepreneurs on its various boards and committees. The students of MBA are highly benefitted with the guidance and training under the eminent industrialists and entrepreneurs.
The students of MBA Department are able to apply the theoretical concepts in real life situations and exhibit effective decision making skills. The students have developed their own entrepreneurial units and are able to think critically, communicate effectively as college and GFM’s ( Guardian Faculty Member ) acts as a strong support system to develop the interpersonal relationships and adapt to constantly changing environment.
The department has been achieving a good percentage of results from its inception. The students already passed out have seen in very good position in various organizations of National and International reputation.

Students of this college are placed amongst the best industries. The T&P cell of the college not only guide our students for personality development but also well-trains them and places them, furthermore also provides career guidance and counseling to students.

Programme Specific Objectives

MBA - Marketing specialization:
1. Use appropriate marketing tools and techniques for a business enterprise.
2. Perform marketing research and employ relevant policies for a given situation.
3. Develop and implement marketing plans, CRM strategies, sales and distribution functions and digital marketing plans for any organization.
MBA - Finance specialization:
1. Analyse a financial business situation and apply various qualitative and quantitative tools and techniques to provide viable solutions.
2. Interpret and apply the taxation laws in India for any business organization.
3. Analyze and participate either for self or for an investor in the capital and money market in India.
MBA - Human Resources specialization:
1. Identify and analyze the trends in Human Resource Management (HRM), Industrial Relations and Strategic Human Resource Management and its implications.
2. Identify and integrate the skills and competencies required to become a successful HR manager.
3. Apply the theoretical and practical aspects of human resource management in real time business situations.
4. Recognize, analyze and develop plans and strategies related to HRM.
